Institutional Philosophy

Anandmayee Institute for Entrepreneurship Development & Research (AIEDR) is founded on the principle that education, entrepreneurship, and research are fundamental drivers of sustainable economic development, institutional resilience, and societal progress.

The Institute adopts a public-purpose orientation, recognizing education and research as long-term national assets rather than commercial products. Accordingly, AIEDR is structured as a not-for-profit institution under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013, ensuring that all resources are applied exclusively toward educational and research objectives.

AIEDR’s philosophy emphasizes academic rigor, ethical governance, multidisciplinary learning, and real-world applicability. The Institute seeks to bridge gaps between theory and practice, academia and industry, and knowledge creation and societal application.

The Institute is committed to inclusivity, access to quality learning, responsible institutional governance, and long-term capacity building across individuals, enterprises, and public institutions.

Memorandum of Association (MoA)

The Memorandum of Association defines the scope, objectives, powers, and operational boundaries of Anandmayee Institute for Entrepreneurship Development & Research. The Institute is incorporated with charitable objectives and shall operate strictly in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and public-interest principles.

The income and property of AIEDR shall be applied solely towards the promotion of its objects as set forth in this Memorandum. No portion of the income or property shall be paid or transferred, directly or indirectly, by way of dividend, bonus, or otherwise to its members.

Any surplus generated from operations shall be reinvested in academic development, research infrastructure, faculty enrichment, and institutional capacity building.

IV. Governance & Administration

The governance of the Institute shall vest in its Board of Directors, which shall act in accordance with the Companies Act, 2013, the Articles of Association, and applicable rules and regulations.
